Politico Botches Report of Gov. Palin's Heroic Media Speech
Rosche referred to the gathering as being under the auspices of "Jews for Sarah." The shabbaton sponsored by Jews for Sarah complemented but was not the main the Heroic Media event. Rosche also quoted Gov. Palin as declining to attend the White House Correspondent's Dinner in favor of the Heroic Media event. The former Alaskan Governor along with her husband Todd and daughter Bristol in fact attended both events, and a fund-raiser brunch prior to raise money for curing epilepsy.
In her speech, Gov. Palin discussed her staunch pro-life position, praised Heroic Media's efforts and discussed how both her and Bristol lived their pro-life values.

The Audacity Of Hatred.
By now, we all have heard of Wonkette's disgusting rhetoric concerning Trig Palin. It was Trig's third birthday, his mother, Sarah Palin, tweeted a birthday wish and the left went into a hissy fit. What the Wonkette website said about this special needs child was so distasteful that many advertisers pulled their ads from the page. Attacking an adult in such a vile manner is bad enough, but a child with downs syndrome? What makes the matter even worse is that they are using the child to try to get to his mother. Honestly, what can we expect when the words decency and moral aptitude are not part of the far Left's vocabulary? So, where is the media who are so quick to jump on any Sarah Palin story? Where is the Republican leadership? Only one potential presidential candidate was willing to stand up for Sarah Palin: Herman Cain. As for the rest, you could hear crickets for miles. This is not the first time we hear disparaging remarks spoken against Trig and his family. We have people like comedian Louis C.K., Bill Maher, Kathy Griffin, Andrew Sullivan and many others who make smearing Sarah Palin and her family their life's agenda. What a sad life that must be! When Senator Ted Stevens was tragically killed in a plane crash, two Democratic Representatives were caught saying that they wished it was Sarah Palin on that plane. Yes, they later apologized, but that doesn't change the original sentiment of those words. Death threats are not new to the Palin family. Bristol Palin received death threats while competing on Dancing With The Stars and Sarah Palin received death threats when she was accused of murder in the Tucson, Arizona shooting spree. Yes, their hate is vile, but it doesn't stop with Sarah Palin.
Recently, former MSNBC host, Keith Olbermann said the following about Conservative commentator and writer S.E. Cupp, "S.E. Cupp should have never been born". It should be noted that Mr. Olbermann got the ax from MSNBC and is now working for Current T.V, Al Gore's network. Olbermann did not like what Ms. Cupp had to say concerning abortion within the social policies of the GOP. You can listen to the discussion here. You can also find S.E. Cupp's rebuttal here. In the past few years, we have seen the vile generated against the Tea Party, words of damnation, accusations of racism and just hate in general. So, why all the hate? Here's my answer: derangement.
To be a Conservative woman who believes in the sanctity of life is almost like a cancer to many on the far Left. They somehow feel the need to destroy you. We can debate the abortion issue all day and still not come to an agreement, but is it necessary to spew so much hate? It is no secret that I am pro life (and I'm a male.) I don't believe that life is a lottery, but a gift from God. I've always wondered, for those who look upon life as a lottery, would you be willing to give up the life you now hold close to your bosom? If not, why do you now dictate who can cherish what you have been fortunate to see live?
Yes, the Left hate women such as Sarah Palin and S.E. Cupp, not just because they are women, but they are CONSERVATIVE women. The far Left hates anyone who disagrees with their agenda. It's a "do it my way or the highway" mentality for the Left. Patriots, the highway the Left wants you to take is the Highway to Hell. Yes, we are not just hated for speaking out, we are hated for who we are and what we believe in. Sarah chose to give birth to a child with Downs Syndrome. S.E. Cupp speaks up for the unborn; therefore, both women are hated. The unborn is not waste to be disposed like garbage. It is the beginning of life; a life that deserves to see the majestic world of living. For some, life is a lottery, if you win, you get to cherish all the facets of living, if not, you are disposed of as a piece of garbage that rats feed upon. My take on this subject can be found in two great articles that you can read here and here. As i see it, the Left says that Trig's life is not worthy because of his connect to a life of Downs Syndrome. This is the sort of vile that the Left has thrown at Trig and Sarah Palin. S.E. Cupp is not welcome into the world of the Left because she dares to speak out, as other conservative women do, that life is precious and sacred. To debate against the beliefs of the Left, not only in the atmosphere of abortion but many other social issues, you face consequences of the vile hatred and threats of death because you did not stay quiet and dared to disagree with their agenda.
Yes, I have trouble at times in deeming when this issue of abortion needs to be debated, like in instances of rape and incest, even though any abortion is criminal in my soul. I, myself, am not perfect and that is when I ask for forgiveness for my imperfections. As in the articles concerning a body of a victimized baby, if this is what others are willing to do to a baby, God help us! Many who believe in abortion, believe the pleasure in life is far more important then the consequences. Such beliefs deem the unborn child a mistake due to lack of responsibility..... Maybe you should look at your mom and say "Thank you" for her believing in life....YOUR LIFE!!!!!

Barack Obama's "Sarah Palin Day"
They filed frivolous ethics complaints against her when she was governor or Alaska. They pushed untrue memes about her in the press. They caused the state to divert its resources from its regular business to answer FOIA's to find out if she ever emailed someone about a jacket or a speech that was not "government business." Today, President Obama complained "We do not have time for this kind of silliness. We've got better stuff to do." He noted "that the networks were breaking in to cover his statement," saying "he could not get this kind of coverage for 'all kinds of other discussions' like national security and went on the blast the press for focusing on an issue he believes is a distraction." So how was your Sarah Palin day, Mr. President?
All the stuff that is happening to Obama now is a "chickens come home to roost" moment. His campaign operatives, the DNC and his supporters lied and distracted from the issues when Sarah Palin ran for vice president and when she returned to Alaska as governor.
Obama ran an entire campaign and governed as President for the last two and a half years without having to deal with the nonsense that Sarah Palin has had to deal with in all that time. And she's not even an elected official. Sure, Obama was criticized on his policies and attacked by the Tea Party. But it wasn't until today that he was in Sarah Palin's shoes having to fend off a piranha-like media and attacks from a highly known reality show star.
Pop culture gave us Donald Trump's "The Apprentice." The media gave Donald Trump's birth certificate question the play it needed. And eventually academia will study what happened and analyze it. Oh, how tables turn. The Left once had a stranglehold on the pop culture, the media and the academia. Was today the conservative movement's Apollo 8 moment when it came to the implementation of the tactics normally used by those on the Left?
Alinsky taught us a lot. The conservative movement got its hands dirty. And while some question the tactic, it is just that a tactic. Lying about George W. Bush and Dick Cheney was a tactic. Lying about Sarah Palin was a tactic. What's a birth certificate and some college transcripts between partisans?
We are an American Idol society. Rush Limbaugh said we are in the era of reality show politics. We don't discuss issues anymore. We attack each other. We marginalize. We have keyboard fights in cyberspace.
Don't hate the players. Hate the game. But win the game.
We will never have lower oil prices until Obama is out of office, Sarah Palin said. We will never have adult policy debates until the liberals are destroyed. Until then, they will continue to play this dirty game. To survive, every once in awhile we may have to bring up a birth certificate. Every once and awhile, we may just have to play the game. Don't bring a knife to a gunfight. Bring a bazooka.
We're in a cage with a wild animal. You can't beat it by having a civil discourse.
Yes, there was a birth certificate the whole time. But why let the truth get in the way of a good beat down on Obama. Don't you think they'd do the same to Sarah Palin if the shoe was on the other foot?
Obama has shown us his birth certificate. Now let Sarah Palin show everyone her record.
Game on. It's only just begun.

The Birth Certificate
I believe that the Obama birth certificate issue is nonsense and is not going anywhere. There are so many problems facing this nation; therefore, the focus on this issue is disheartening. It is the old shell game and many in the GOP fell for it.
Some say that people are obsessed with Sarah Palin, but fail to recognize that the same can be said about the birth certificate brouhaha. The current President can be taken apart on the issues, but instead people are talking about where he was born. Now why is that? It is because of a snake oil salesman named Donald Trump (much like Obama) came on the scene and took the birth certificate issue and ran with it. And with him he dragged the rest of the GOP. Where are we now? Well, we have spent valuable time and looked silly following the snake oil salesman around.
It's time to get back to the issues that really matter: the socialization of America and how to stop it. I'll admit, even I let this non-issue distract me when I knew better. I will not let it happen again. Keep this up and we will have 4 more years of Obama. The media has done a great disservice to the American people by hyping up this story and feeding it to us. When we saw the media hype, it should have been our first clue that we were being set up. Remember, the media carries the water for Obama.

SarahPAC: Looking Ahead to 2012
I am so thankful for the American patriots across our nation who voted this past November to bring Congress back to the ideals of our Founding Fathers.
The White House and Congress heard loud-and-clear that Americans don’t want cradle-to-grave government control of our lives. We don’t want government bureaucrats deciding what kind of light bulbs we should use, what kind of cars we should drive, and which doctors can and can’t care for us and our families. And we don’t want our president continuing to manipulate the U.S. energy supply. What we want are the freedom and opportunities to make a better life for ourselves in this most exceptional nation on earth.
Taking back control of the House last year was only the first step. Now you and I must fix our eyes on 2012. Our goal is to take back the White House and the Senate. We must take back control of Congress and the White House in order to undo the damage done by the disastrous Obama/Pelosi/Reid agenda.
I’ll be supporting commonsense conservative candidates in crucial off-year elections and doing all that I can to ramp up our preparations for 2012. And I promise to join you in holding new members of Congress accountable to ensure that they live up to their campaign promises to rein in out-of-control government spending and to repeal and replace the massive, burdensome, and unwanted Obamacare bill.
Can I count on your support as we look ahead to 2012?
I know what a sacred trust it is to be asking you to contribute your hard-earned money to SarahPAC. I take that trust very seriously, especially in these hard economic times. But there’s so much at stake now -– we are the most powerful country on earth and the world is better off because of us. Yet our own president and our liberal Senate seem determined to weaken us.
It’s imperative that you and I fight to end deficit spending - protect our free market entrepreneurial system - drill here and drill now for responsible energy independence - secure our borders - and strengthen our national defense to stand up to Islamic extremists and other enemies of America.
If you want to help me lay crucial groundwork, please send your best gift possible to SarahPAC today.
Thank you for joining me in the fight to keep America the country we know and love!
With an Alaskan Heart,
Sarah Palin

Gov. Palin on Greta: Obama Focused on 2012, Not Nation
Tonight's interview follows in the wake of a scathing Facebook Note in which Gov. Palin took Obama to task essentially for shirking when he should be working on Libya.
"We cannot afford our commander-in-chief, our CEO to" to not focus on his job, she said. "He needs to help get the economy back on track. The perception he gives on some issues is that he can't be bothered." Gov. Palin said if that's the case, "government should get out of the way, don't monetize debt, no quantitative easing and no wars we can't afford."
She said Obama "has been extremely inconsistent on why we're in Libya. First, Gaddafi had to go...then it's not our job to tell Libyans what to do...why there? Why not Syria? What is our interest in Libya?"
Gov. Palin said "when you have a trillion-dollar deficit and $14 trillion in debt you have to be careful with the wars we engage in....We should only get involved if we're in it to win it." She added that we have to make sure a replacement government is not something worse than the predecessor.
"We cannot afford to be the world's ATM and babysitter," Gov. Palin said.
When asked how she would handle today's high oil prices, Gov. Palin responded, "there should be no moratorium on drilling...the EPA is making it impossible for responsible drillers...there should be no subsidizing Brazil and other foreign countries' drilling."
Gov. Palin noted that the State of Alaska had already completed studies on whether speculation and collusion were at the root of high oil prices. The study concluded that it was a supply and demand issue. Gov. Palin said that Obama needs to work with these results and similar results from other states' studies and support domestic drilling. She said his "hare-brained schemes" for green energy were no solution.
"A devalued dollar combined with the lack of domestic supply results in higher prices," Gov. Palin said adding that it was a "deadly combination."
Greta did not ask Gov. Palin about her own 2012 plans but asked her about Donald Trump's. Gov. Palin said that she "respects what Trump is doing regarding the birth certificate and college records, and hopes that now he will force a shift in debate to other more important issues." She added that "the media is loving this," and they are "making curious Americans sound kind of crazy." Gov. Palin dropped a hint that Obama's memoir may have been co-written by domestic terrorist Bill Ayers. She said there is nothing wrong with asking Obama to disclose his thesis and other college papers - not because of the grades he may have gotten - but to understand his thought process, and "what goes into his thinking."
"It is not inappropriate to ask why our commander-in-chief would want our troops under the control of NATO....People want to be able to trust their government," Gov. Palin said.
Regarding Katie Couric's retirement from CBS, Gov. Palin said jokingly that she read about it in one of the many papers she reads online and wished her luck in her new "multi-dimensional story-telling."

Palin said.

America Deserves Libya Explanation
Governor Palin today posted on Facebook:
Please make up your mind, Mr. President. You can’t vacillate when spending America’s human and fiscal resources in yet another foreign country without good reason. You said that Libyan leader Gaddafi has got to go. Many of us heard that as your call to action and agreed, “Okay, you’re right. He’s an evil dictator who kills his own innocent people, so enforce a no-fly zone so he can’t continue an aerial slaughter.” But then you said our mission in Libya isn’t to oust Gaddafi after all. (Or vice versa on the order or your statements. Between you and your advisers the public has been given so many conflicting statements on why we’re intervening in Libya that I apologize if I can’t keep up with the timing and rationale of your murky foreign policy positions.)
At this point, to avoid further mission creep and involvement in a third war – one we certainly can’t afford – you need to step up and justify our Libyan involvement, or Americans are going to demand you pull out. Simply put, what are we doing there? You’ve put us in a strategic no man’s land. If Gaddafi’s got to go, then tell NATO our continued participation hinges on this: We strike hard and Gaddafi will be gone. If, as you and your spokesmen suggest, we’re not to tell Libya what to do when it comes to that country’s leadership, and if you can’t explain to Americans why we’re willing to protect Libyan resources and civilians but not Syria’s, Yemen’s, Bahrain’s, Egypt’s, Israel’s, etc., then there is no justification for U.S. human and fiscal resources to be spent.
I would also ask you to better explain your thinking on Libya. We can’t afford any actions that don’t take care of crucial U.S. needs and meet our own interests at this point. You are the Commander in Chief, so please explain what you believe is our “interest” there and not elsewhere.
Mr. President, your hesitation and vacillation in the Middle East breed uncertainty. It’s symptomatic of the puzzling way you govern. See, uncertainty is one of the factors over which you have control, and I would think you’d want to eliminate that additional element that helps breed problems like higher oil prices. Higher oil means exorbitant gas prices weighing down our economy. Consistency and strength – and greater domestic energy production – will help fix higher gas prices and help heal the economy. But only with leadership. These sorts of problems don’t fix themselves.
It’s unbelievable to me that you spent last week in campaign mode, gallivanting around the country to start raising the billion dollars for your reelection bid that is still 19 months away “while Rome burns.” Our economy is in the tank; jobs are as scarce as ever; you’re asking Congress to let you incur even more unsustainable, immoral, freedom-stealing government debt; and many of our brave men and women in uniform are shaking their heads in disbelief over your befuddled military directions. Yet instead of working with Congress and a wise multitude of advisers to fix some problems, you choose all this campaigning, already? As was recently asked: When do you ever just “roll up your sleeves, unplug the teleprompter” and do the job of governing and administrating for which voters hired you?
I know, I know, granted you will be even busier very soon. After all, golf season kicks into high gear shortly. NBA and NHL brackets await. Summer vacations and that all-consuming campaign whistle stop tour will no doubt slam you. But I would ask, while the rest of us are also busy working, saving, planning ahead, fighting to protect our Constitution, and trying to keep up with where and why you’re spending our Department of Defense funds – I’d ask that you find time to tell Americans the truth about the state of our union and what you are doing to find solutions to our challenges. Please start with explaining Libya.

Happy Easter
Governor Palin today posted on Facebook:
Easter is the celebration of what hope really means. In Jesus’ triumph over death through His resurrection, we believe that death was defeated and hope became the expectation of eternal life with God.
Hope is the great driving force in many of our lives, and it has been the driving force in our country’s history. America has always had a strong sense that God’s providence is abundant, that no challenge can ever be too great and no enemy too strong. It was this hope that inspired us to carve a nation out of the wilderness, to appreciate opportunities to responsibly utilize nature’s resources, to engineer skyscrapers towering over our gleaming cities, and to fly to the moon.
As a country and as individuals, we can always have true hope to guide us. Our best days remain ahead of us. And working together we will leave this country to our children a better place than we received it from our parents.
On this blessed day let’s remember our Lord’s sacrifice that led to the Resurrection; and from the whole Palin family, have a wonderful Easter!

Are Pro-Choicers Really Pro-Choice?
What is "Pro-Choice"?
The term "pro-choice" sounds really warm and fuzzy. After all, who wants to be "anti-choice"? It's a loaded term leftists always use to describe pro-lifers. One pillar of pro-choice ideology is that a woman's body is hers to do what she wants with, and that abortion is a woman's inalienable right. Keeping abortion "safe and legal" is the second pillar of "pro-choice" ideology. Some center-leftists and "pro-choice" folks from the center-right add "rare" to the mix. But, the behavior of Wonkette and its followers was "anti-choice" to the core. These people were so consumed by blind hatred toward all things Palin that they staked an illogical position antithetical to their own stated ideology. They became the thing they hate.
Carrying a Pregnancy to Term From a Pro-Choice Perspective
So, let's examine Gov. Palin carrying Trig to term from a "pro-choice" standpoint. If we accept as true the notion that Gov. Palin's body is "hers to do with as she pleases," carrying a pregnancy to term is just as much a choice as aborting the pregnancy. You cannot call yourself "pro-choice" while simultaneously arguing against completing a pregnancy to term. It's Gov. Palin's body...as a woman if she wants to carry her pregnancy to term - choosing life - that is her prerogative and her right. Gov. Palin had the legal right to abort her pregnancy. She chose life instead. Is that not "choice"?
Just because something is legal, does not mean it is mandatory. Smoking tobacco and drinking alcohol are both legal, and in some jurisdictions, marijuana possession and smoking is also legal. Many people choose not to smoke or drink even though the law permits it. Just because something is legal does not make it right or smart to do.
Life is a Choice...
Gov. Palin did not carry Trig to term under threat or duress. She carried him to term of her own free will, knowing and understanding that he would have special needs. Free will is the essence of choice. Free will underpins "pro-choice." True pro-choice respects the choosing of life as a woman's right.
But, to hear some "pro-choicers" speak and read their evil anti-Trig rants, they practically wanted to ambush Gov. Palin while she was pregnant with Trig, hog-tie her and drag her to the nearest abortion clinic....simply put, these "pro-choicers" are "pro-choice," as long as the choice is abortion. Life is not a valid choice in their deranged ideology. These people are not "pro-choice," as they like to call themselves. They're "anti-choice" and they're pro-abortion. They have taken the leap from abortion being a "right" to being mandatory - anti-choice.
Gov. Palin Lives and Leads by Example
Though Gov. Palin is pro-life, we have never seen her trying to outlaw all abortion. Yes, she believes tax payer dollars should not be used to fund abortions. Yes, she believes partial-birth abortion should be outlawed - even most "pro-choicers" agree with her position on this. Yes, she has supported parental notification when a minor wants to have the procedure done. Gov. Palin believes abortion is an issue that should be decided at the state level, not the federal level. Being a limited government conservative, Gov. Palin is not interested in policing people's bedrooms. While she has strongly held beliefs that guide her life, Gov. Palin has said more than once that she is not out to convert anybody or shove anything down anybody's throat. For Gov. Palin, when governing, following the Constitution supersedes everything.
Gov. Palin has a simple faith and lives it. Gov. Palin does not merely preach pro-life. She lived it, as did her daughter Bristol. Both carried their pregnancies to term of their own free will, even though it was not "convenient," and they live in a society where abortion is "safe" (it's not quite as safe as its proponents crack it up to be, though admittedly safer than the back alley coat hanger abortions of old), legal, and - unfortunately - common.
Pro-Life is Pro-Choice
Gov. Palin's decision was not just pro-life. Her decision was also pro-choice in the purest sense of the term. To argue otherwise is patently absurd and irrational. Choosing life is a choice. Pro-life is pro-choice.
Tonight will most likely be our final update to the Trigs Crew Companies or Hall of Heroes, which now number 44 with Dominos Pizza jumping aboard. These 44 companies sent the message loud and clear that attacking an innocent three-year-old is a despicable act not to be tolerated. The Letterman debacle of 2009 was the beginning of the end of the era of the Palins being a leftist punching bag. His sexism and misogyny cost his show four major sponsors. This episode proves once more that unhinged, unprovoked attacks against the Palins carry severe consequences.
